IN THE SPOTLIGHT
Hosts
AURA’s DJ department is the heart and soul of our work. Our DJ department consists of witty and creatively unhinged people that love to collaborate. Our hosts and DJs are in charge of hosting morning shows throughout the weekdays, which aim to inform our audience about relevant topics and bring a breath of fresh air when it comes to entertainment. Our DJs are also music fanatics and they express their musical taste at the campus-wide and local events that we are invited to. If you like chaos, voicing your opinion and showing your musical side to an audience, then the DJ department sounds like a suitable choice for you!
Sales
Kind of hard to summarize in a few words. Sales are the people behind all the parties and events - planning, logistically coordinating, executing, sometimes DIYing, hosting, and promoting. We communicate with You, a.k.a. the marketing masterminds behind all the social media content, copies, and messages. And maybe the most important part of being a salesperson - contacting partners, sponsors, and show guests. Few words to describe these phenomena: Talented, Flexible, Creative, Organized, and Chaotic Business All-Rounders!
Producers
The Producer’s department of radio AURA, also known as the creative force behind the radio, is in charge of all the beautiful visuals on our social media. We create posters for shows and events, we make sure all of the radio’s shows have amazing sound, we immortalize parties with our cameras, we throw workshops for all radio members who would like to learn more about working with visuals and sound and occasionally we produce content for the radio. Oh, and we have a whole lot of fun. If you consider yourself a creative person, love hanging out with cool people and enjoy music, you should probably consider joining the producers. We promise you will have a blast!
